Below are examples of how using Bento Boxes can help you with your portion control diet. When your food is served, immediately place half or more of the plate into your Bento Box. You have effectively cut half the calories and you will also save money, as you now have saved food for another meal.

I love soup and would to consume a whole can of soup, which is usually two servings. To stop that habit, I now portion out the soup into two equal servings. I use re-sealable soup bowls to divide the can of soup into two equal servings. The bowl is microwave safe, has a re-sealable lid and is easy to clean in then the dishwasher.
